Adding Trading Symbols

Open the Navigator Window:
- Ensure the “Navigator” window is visible. If it’s not displayed, you can open it by clicking on “View” in the top menu and selecting “Navigator,” or by pressing Ctrl+N.
Open the Symbols List:
- Right-click in the “Market Watch” window. This window shows all available trading symbols.
Add Symbol:
- Right-click in the “Market Watch” window and select “Symbols” from the context menu. The “Symbols” window will open.
- In the “Symbols” window, you’ll see a list of symbol groups available on your trading server. Look for the group that contains the desired symbol (e.g., “Forex” or “Metals”).
Select Symbol:
- Find “XAUUSD” or “Gold/USD” in the list of available symbols. Click on the symbol to highlight it.
- Click “Show” to add the symbol to the “Market Watch” window. The symbol will now be visible in the “Market Watch.”
Close the Window:
- Close the “Symbols” window by clicking “Close.” The “XAUUSD” symbol should now be visible in the “Market Watch.”

Opening a new chart window

Use the Market Watch Window:
- Ensure the “Market Watch” window is visible. If not, open it again through “View” > “Market Watch” or by pressing Ctrl+M.
Open a New Chart Window:
- Locate “XAUUSD” in the “Market Watch.” Right-click on “XAUUSD.”
- Select “Chart Window” from the context menu. A new chart window for “XAUUSD” will open.
Adjust the Chart:
- In the new chart window, you can make various adjustments, such as changing the time frame, adding technical indicators, or changing the chart type (line, bar, or candlestick chart).
- To change the time frame, click on the desired time frame icon in the toolbar or select “View” > “Timeframes” and choose the desired period (e.g., 1 hour, 4 hours, daily).
