Login MetaTrader4 (MT4)

Launch MetaTrader 4 on your computer. You can find the program in your Start menu (Windows) or in your Applications folder (Mac, if installed via PlayOnMac).

Click on “File” in the top menu bar of MetaTrader 4.

Select “Open an Account” from the dropdown menu. A new “Open an Account” window will appear.

In the “Open an Account” window, you’ll see a field for selecting the trading server. Click on the “Server” field.

Look for and select the appropriate server from the list. FTMO typically uses server names like “FTMO - Demo Server” or “FTMO - Live Server.” If you don’t see the server, you can manually enter the server address provided by FTMO.

Login: Your account number or username.

Password: Your trading account password.

Click on “Login.” MT4 will connect to the selected server and attempt to log in with the provided account details.

After a successful login, your trading account should appear in the “Navigator” window on the left side of MT4.

You should also see your current account information and balance in the status bar at the bottom of the MT4 window.

If login fails, double-check the server address, your login name, and your password. Ensure there are no spaces or typos.

Make sure your internet connection is working and the selected server is correct.

In the “Navigator” window, you can manage your account and select various trading instruments.

You can now analyze different financial instruments in MT4 by opening new charts and adding technical indicators.
