FTMO Registration

Registration and Purchasing an FTMO Challenge.

FTMO Steps

Visit the Website: Go to the official FTMO website at www.ftmo.com.
Create an Account: Click on the “Register” button (if you don’t already have an account). If you already have an account, click on “Login” and sign in with your existing credentials.
Fill Out the Registration Form: Enter the required information (such as name, email address, password, etc.) in the registration form and confirm your registration.

Start a New FTMO Challenge: Once you’re logged into your account, click on “New FTMO Challenge”.
Select Trading Currency: Choose the currency in which you want your account to be denominated (e.g., USD, EUR, GBP).
Set Initial Capital: Select the initial capital with which you want to trade in the challenge (e.g., $10,000, $50,000, etc.).
Choose Account Type:
- Standard Account: Offers a leverage of 1:100.
- Swing Account (recommended): Offers a leverage of 1:30 and allows you to trade during news events and hold positions over the weekend.
We recommend the Swing account because it offers more flexibility, especially during news events and weekends, reducing the risk of breaking certain trading rules.
Select Trading Platform: Choose the trading platform you wish to use. A popular choice is MetaTrader 4 (MT4), as it is widely used and supports many trading strategies and tools.

Enter Billing Information: Provide your billing information (name, address, etc.).
Select Payment Currency: Choose the currency with which you want to pay (e.g., USD, EUR).
Accept Terms and Conditions: Read the Terms and Conditions. If you agree, check the corresponding boxes.
Complete Payment: Click on “Confirm and Proceed with Payment.” Then, select your preferred payment method (e.g., credit card, PayPal) and follow the steps to complete the payment.

Confirmation via Email: After successful payment, you will receive a confirmation email from FTMO. Your account will now be set up.
Log into FTMO Client Area: Log into your FTMO client area and go to the “Account Overview” section.
View Login Details: Click on “Login Details” to view the credentials for your trading account.
Set Up MetaTrader 4 (MT4): Use the provided login credentials to log into MetaTrader 4 and start trading.
